Some prior comments could hold true that when walking through the door unannounced to look at product and trying to speak with a sales person without an appointment might be difficult. I experienced this 1 of the 3 times I went there. The other 2 times I was met by an extremely helpful front desk person who went out of her way to assist me. When I followed up days later on the phone I got a sales women named Tish who was incredibly helpful & pleasant and walked me through things. I ended up placing the order with her. She was kind, professional, patient and followed up over the next few days with me quickly every time I emailed her. My advice would be ask for Tish and you will be well taken care of. My experience with waking into showrooms unannounced across 3-4 different companies all garnered a similar response…by appointment only is typically the preferred method of doing business.

Was looking to help my daughter with the sink for her food truck. Did not have any luck until we found this place. I explained the problem to Dave and he said what I needed was not something they had but offered to come up with a solution by combining some stock parts. While he was gathering what was needed every employee asked if I was being waited on. I was very impressed with this well run business and Dave deserves a raise.

I went into Republic to get a new facet for our kitchen , I was the only one there I walked up to the counter and I approached a man named"Rich"..I showed him a picture of the facet I was thinking of and explained to him that we bought one last week here but it was not the one we wanted, he asked what kind and continued to look it up, he stated for the $131 we spent we bought the worst kitchen facet we could get! So I began to ask how much the one he thought would be a good fit.. he said it was 260.00 so I asked if he had something in the middle ..not the most expensive one ...he told me to "listen lady maybe Homedepot is someplace you should visit I don't have time to show you facets.."!! I was mortified and after that reaction in front of other customers I was extremely embarrassed by his outrageous behavior. This gentleman clearly does not belong in customer service. Needless to say I did not want to purchase anything after that and left. I left a message with the manager of that store in Quincy but have not heard back, never again will visit republic in Quincy unfortunately

Please stay away from this place. Very pricey and rule. They give you the lack of attention, especially your appearance look minority. They sold me the burner control unit for $440, normally it would be around $200-$250. They don't stand behind their stock. They sold me the control unit that has the wrong outlets but they refused to take it back or exchange. They give you a childish reason, "because electric unit." I informed them that you sold the wrong unit. Now I brought the item back for exchange within two hours from purchased and it still in the original package.

I further told that the control unit has wrong outlets. They replied, "not my problem." I not go back to that place.

Went in looking for a tubing reamer/deburr tool. Was told there was no such thing under 1/2”, and the tool I must be looking for wouldn’t be in a plumbing store.(bit of an attitude) Went to big chain hardware warehouse and found what I needed in the plumbing section. What a joke, hire people who know what they’re talking about. 1/8”-1 1/8” cutting tool with foldable reamers exist, as well as inner/outer pipe reamers that go down to 1/8”. But the first time I went in I had a young decent fellow who knew what I needed and was in and out. This time I got an older ignorant fellow and was in/out empty handed. You get a 3 star, however, I feel as though it might be more deserving of a 2. Do better.
