I brought a family member 82 years old and they treated him and everyone horrible at the door entrance, they didn’t want to let him in because his appointment was not printed , I found it for him on his email and he got in struggling. I had to wait for him outside and everyone was complaining and requesting the supervisor because everyone had a problem and they didn’t want to let in no one and not even wanted people near the door and they all needed the service and they make everybody loose their valuable time here. I’ve been an hour outside waiting for my family member and he has not come out yet. When he comes out I’ll update on how he was treated inside. Everything looks good on paper but it’s a lie, reality is that is horrific service we citizens have to pay.

Tarde 1 hora y 15 minutos desde que llegue, para hacer la renovación de la licencia. Mí cita era para el próximo viernes , pero por motivos de viaje , tuve que acercarme hoy para ver si lograba que me atendieran. Al trabajador de la entrada le expliqué la situación y me hizo pasar, todos fueron muy amables. Lo que sí pude notar es que mucha gente se molesta, porque los rechazan pero en su mayoría es por falta de documentación, siempre antes de ir es bueno que estés seguros que llevas toda tu documentación y seguro todo el trámite lo harás muy rápido. Hay muchas taquillas disponibles. En la entrada hay dos personas que verifican si tienes cita, debes mostrar el email que te llego para confirmar la cita (El señor habla un poco español, por si no habla inglés) la chica solo habla inglés. Pero es muy importante que lleves toda la documentación para que no pierdas tiempo. Atienden sin cita me informa la chica que me atendió en la taquilla, pero debes llegar a la 5am.

The staff at this location have an appallingly poor sense of ethics and customer service. They seem to lack basic empathy and professionalism. I waited in line for two hours just to renew my tag, only to be told I had to go to a tag agency. When I returned with the necessary proof of insurance to show the DMV, they insisted I redo the line all over again. To make matters worse, they rudely informed me that by 1 PM, they might not even take any more people. This is completely unacceptable and shows a blatant disregard for the time and needs of their customers.

BLUF: MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!

I got here today over an hour before this place opens. To my surprise, there was a line around the building. Clearly this place is very important to a lot of people.

On the DMV web page it says no appointment required.

Once they opened, the line started moving nicely. 37 minutes after they opened, I could see the front door. I was really impressed with how quickly they were processing people. Then a lady came out of the building and told us no one else could come in unless they had an appointment! At 0907 AM they could no longer accept people without an appointment. They close at 5PM. What on earth are they doing that they already knew they couldn't take more people? Why do they even need appointments? This isn't a Dr office or a mechanic? These people process paperwork and from my little experience, they were doing a great job. Maybe FL DMV needs to chill out on appointments and just take care of the job.

I can’t say enough about how incredible the staff at the Hialeah DMV was! After the frustration of visiting four different locations with no assistance for my son—who had a job offer but needed his original documents—the team here was a breath of fresh air. Angela, Mercedes, and Ivonne were beyond amazing.
They need to go to every location and show them how it’s done.
They truly went above and beyond, recognizing that my son is an honor roll student and making the process seamless. We were in and out within 1 hour and 45 minutes, which is unheard of for such a situation. Their kindness, professionalism, and efficiency turned what could have been another nightmare into a great experience.

Thank you so much for your help! You all made a stressful situation so much better, and we’re deeply grateful. Highly recommend this location to anyone in need of service Julian F mummy thank you ladies

If there was the possibility of giving this place 0 stars I would . For starters I arrived at 5:44 am to make the line because it’s understandable that with the influx of people coming to Florida you will have some volume . When I got there I counted and I was to be number 30 on the line . Little did I know that people there are saving places in line for 7 and 10 people . Long story short I wasn’t able to get in . They keep on telling people at the door to make appointments when they are not available until a month from today if you are lucky . It is outrageous the lack of organization and support. Additionally the rudeness and lack of knowledge from the staff is superb. You ask the same question to two different employees and receive a completely different response. The system here is more than broken . This place has turned into a little Cuba and not in the best way. People paying others to make the line for them and getting there at whatever time they want . This is getting out of control!! The online system is also getting worse by the minute . Our taxes really need to be put to better use, it’s our right as taxpayers to demand a better treatment and more efficient system. It’s a shame how such an easy process can turn into a nightmare. Best of luck to you if you decide to go into this establishment.

No se por dónde comenzar.. primero debería haber calificación de 0 estrellas porque 1 es demasiado, a excepción de la señora que me atendió en la taquilla para renovar la licencia, y la señora Argentina que está en la caja, la atención en general es paupérrima, aparte del mal trato que te brindan los dos tipos que están afuera filtrando la gente, la manager es aún peor, en vez de resolver los problemas de las personas, ella amenaza que va a cerrar y no va a recibir a más nadie, el policía que tienen afuera en vez de proteger los derechos de las personas, este también te recuerda que tiene una pistola en el cinto y que te puede amedrentar y tienes que quedarte calladito y hacer lo que dice la tirana.. En fin malísima experiencia. Atropello y abuso total..

People are bad after being there for 3 hours for an ID for my mother with the appointment confirmation through the website, I brought the proof of address, it says that they had to be current with a recent date, there it does not say in the confirmation that it has to be with dates one and two, they themselves send you to the side close to them where they do DOT procedures and each printed sheet costs $5, it is a lack of respect, the proof that I brought were supposedly useless, well to print others I had to pay $15 dollars there next to their door that surely has some contract with them and they made me ask for the rental contract which they also printed for me and well the first woman who attended to me after spending so much time She told me it was okay, well it started. I took a photo of my mother for her ID, I took her citizenship, the social, the copies with the contract and the statement of the first page of the bank, it turns out that in the end she knocked me out, this rental contract is month to month and is for a year, I told her ma'am, you have wasted my time, I left work, I have to go back and you had told me that everything was fine, well she tells me I'm going to put you through to a supervisor, it turns out that the ethics and professionalism of the supervisor is terrible, laughing in my face, my mother who couldn't even walk tells me that we should leave, that woman tells me that the rules are the rules, I tell her ma'am, I've been here for three hours, what happens to the people that finished a year contract where they lives and now, its month to month what more proof of residence and address do you want, woman, well the treatment was terrible, I don't recommend it to anyone, I went with my mother who fell outside and a couple that was passing by picked her up from the ground because the appointment was at twelve and we left there at 3:45 pm from waiting so long to not resolve anything, that's it. It is communism when it has been seen that the treatment and that so many proofs of where one lives are needed to get an ID for a 65-year-old person and even when presenting them they do not facilitate the possibilities of help to a humane treatment. It is terrible the bad day that I spent in that place I do not recommend it to anyone and what I wish is that these people who are so unprofessional that God makes their day come.
